The early days of the pandemic were not easy to deal with. This completely new disease had taken us by the storm disrupting every aspect of our life. For healthcare workers, not much information was at hand to initiate the necessary response action. The transmission method of the virus, various treatment protocols, and guidelines for the same were not set initially.
There was absolute uncertainty about the way forward. No one knew how the situation would pan out in the next two or three months. Over the past year, days have been arduous for thousands of medical practitioners everywhere, both professionally and personally. While leading the Covid-19 war, doctors suffered from multiple setbacks from losing their fellow warriors to the disease. With no real time to grief or take a break, doctors often couldn’t find time to spend moments of solace and love with their families.
